Great Moments in Game 5 History
Others may play sick, but there will never be another Flu Game. MJ took them off the market.

The Painted Area follows up Kevin Peltus’ piece (it’s ESPN Insider), about the effective age’s of championship winning teams. What’s remarkable is Dallas would be the second oldest (in effective age*) to win a championship…in history! They would only be younger than the last Bulls squad in ‘98 before they disbanded and Jordan announced his retirement for the second (but not last) time.
It’s pretty remarkable what this Mavericks group has been able to accomplish just getting to the Finals. God, I already sound like they’ve lost.

FanDuel has compiled a list of the all time hilarious NBA playoff interviews, and they don’t even discount those which aren’t on you tube (a nice example of knowing your ish). The one featured here was one of my favorites during the Jail Blazer years the white fans in Portland would just assume forget.
‘Sheed is acting all Sheed, and I love him for it. I missed Rasheed this year.
Also, who can forget SCALABRINE’S MVP speech after game 6 of the 2008 NBA Finals!?
